From January 21 to January 23, 2019, the largest job and vocational training fair opened its gates. And of course we were there again for the event.
KWD IMPRESSES AUDIENCES AGAIN THIS YEAR WITH 35,000 VISITORS (W / M / D).
And of course we were there again for the event. On over 20,000 square meters, 547 exhibitors appeared for a turnout of 35,000 visitors and presented their jobs, apprenticeships, training programs, carrier possibilities, internship opportunities, and much more.We recorded 600 qualified discussions with potential applicants (w/m/d), future trainees (w/m/d) and future colleagues (w/m/d) or interns (w/m/d). For three whole days, we were represented on site with six persons throughout the trade fair to provide optimal support at our trade fair stand and to answer questions about training, jobs, and internships. Our Minister President Michael Kretschmer visited us at our stand as as early as Friday. He opened the trade fair on Friday as its patron and said at the event: “The ‘KarriereStart’ trade fair offers school graduates, those interested in further training, and entrepreneurs reliable orientation in the shaping of their own futures. It’s especially important to support students in their search for the right career. We expanded the ‘practice consultant’ project at secondary schools in Saxony for this very purpose. They help young people better recognize their own potentials and skills so that they can ultimately discover the right career. After all, qualified and committed skilled workers are an essential requirement for Saxony as an business and science location.” In the words of Roland Zwerenz (chairman of the organizer ORTEC), “The choice of career is one of the most important decisions in life, and KarriereStart helps with that. If you’re looking for a career at home with good prospects and security is at the right place at the trade fair.” We couldn’t have put it better ourselves. If you’re looking for a career at home with good prospects and security, you’re at the right place at KWD. ;-)
